Congratulations!

You are one step closer to building your email list with highly engaged audience!

Your first freebie is what I like to call an introductory freebie. It is the starting point to build your list which means that most people coming in, will be cold audience. Your first freebie is often a test of what's working and what isn't. If your freebie does well, then you make it into something bigger such as a video, webinar or a challenge!

HERE IS HOW YOU STRUCTURE YOUR FREEBIE

A strong title that tells the user exactly what you are offering with a visually pleasing image

Here is an example: “A list of 5-minute exercises to do on your lunch break”, Don’t put in “Free your body and brain of daily restraints” You need to be very clear to the point a 10-year-old will understand what you are offering.

A good guideline is to fill in the blanks:

Here are [how many ways] ways to [benefit] in just [time limit]

This could look something like this:

"Discover 3 simple ways to grow your audience organically in just 5 minutes a day"

YOUR FREE ADVICE

Solve one problem they can implement immediately

The free advice you are giving away is the key information. You want to make sure you are solving one problem. Something that they can implement right away.

For example, if you are a fitness coach and you want to help people believe they have time to get into the habit of exercising, you want them to start small. 5- or 10-minute exercises to do at lunch is a good solution for that. It helps them get into a habit, it is easily attainable and will most likely leave them wanting more after a while.

Notice how I’m not telling you how to create a free webinar or a free 5-day challenge in this freebie? Both of those take hours if not days to create. A simple pdf guide can be done within an hour.

WHO ARE YOU?

A short bio on who you are

You want a short bio on you. Introduce yourself to your viewer. You should have a tagline by now that describes what it is that you do.

The reason I don’t put this information on top is that people frequently scroll past it to get to the good stuff. You just saved them scrolling down then up again. Make this about a paragraph, two paragraphs max with no sales message. Zero (this is very important)!

CALL TO ACTION

Always have a call to action

The type of a call to action depends on your goal and your digital product. Your call to action can be to sell a low ticket product ($50 or less) or it could be to get on a call with you for a higher ticket item.

Perhaps you want to funnel people into your Facebook group, then that would be your call to action, or an invitation to your podcast or YouTube channel.

Either way, you always have a call to action. You don't want to just get people on your email list, you want to direct them somewhere afterwards

ADD A BONUS (OPTIONAL)

Bonus is a fun way to add value

Bonus material is a fun way to add value to your freebie. If you can, find a way to add a bit to the knowledge that is a natural next step from your freebie.

WEBSITE LINK

Canva offers a clickable link

If you have a website, you should be linking it in the footer. Ideally you should have a good amount of educational material on your website so people can get to know you even better. If you create your freebie in canva, you can make the link clickable inside your pdf.

DO YOU WANT MORE?

Want to learn exactly WHAT to put in your freebie?

Having a guide like this is great, it gives you a place to start. But what if you could take it a step further and get my exact formula I use to create a lead magnet that converts!

Imagine having a lead magnet that is so great and targeted that your list is filled with highly engaged audience that are ready to buy your products (digital or physical)!

I use a special method to create my freebies. From the beginning they have converted very highly. Each and every one of them builds up my list with little effort from me.

The reason for it, is that I mastered how to communicate to my ideal client in a way that they feel like I'm speaking directly to them!

It's overwhelming creating your first freebie, and if I could save you the time and frustration for less than 3 days worth of a cup of coffee?

I promise if you follow the 5 day course, by the end of those 5 days you will not only have gained deeper knowledge of your ideal client, but the understanding of how to reach them!

I will leave it up to you, you can pay $10 for the course, or spend weeks if not months trying to do this on your own. Create freebie after freebie that doesn't convert.

Are you ready to build your list with incredibly engaged audience that is ready to buy from you!?
